In 2000 the Terrestrial Ecology Research Unit (TERU) at UPE produced an booklet entitled "The Baviaanskloof Conservation Area - a conservation and tourism development priority" by Dr Andre Boshoff, Prof Richard Cowling and Prof Graham Kerley.
