Steytlerville’s youth centre provides locals with computer training and career advice. The centre is situated at the Baviaans Municipality and offers youngsters free computer literacy lessons.

This group of artists consists of 30 members who perform at schools, festivals and events. They have performed at the Grahamstown Arts festival as well at the Rainbow Festival in Steytlerville.

Albany is the local upholsterer in town and does all manner of needlework.

This group of jewellers formed a business in 2009 after attending a jewellery making course sponsored by PPC Cement and the Baviaans Municipality in 2008/2009.

Margaret has had her own clothing business since 2005 and creates African designs with which to clothe women in the area.

Lucinda started her jewellery making business in 2008. She produces necklaces, earrings and bracelets from her home and sells them at markets and to the community.

Lizzy Snoek has spent her life building her business and today is one of the most successful women in Steytlerville.

Solani Sampies has spent more than 40 years perfecting the art of working with wire and tin. He is well-known for his tin mail boxes and lunch or tool boxes.
