Zaaymanshoek commonly referred to as the “lost city” of the Baviaans, is a tucked away community who only came out of isolation a few years ago. The area features a hiking trial into the Donkerkloof which leads to a natural spring. Hikers walk along a dry river bed, between cracks in the mountain and among ferns and trees that emerge out of the rocks. Zaaymanshoek also has bushman paintings depicting scenes from centuries ago.  Ask for Jerry to get directions.
