bed and breakfast accommodation.
- Bo-Kloof offers self-catering, B&B
or D,B&B accommodation for up to
six persons in a guesthouse which is part of the farmstead but which is
completely self-contained and separate to ensure our guests' privacy.
- There are two spacious bedroom/lounges, one with
a double and two single beds and the other with two single beds. The one has a
kitchenette which is fully equipped with a two-plate stove with oven,
microwave, fridge/freezer and everything else you will need.
- The bathroom is large and there is plenty of
space in the garden for you to enjoy a braai.
- Linen and towels included.
Camping
- The Campsite is an open area with grass
covering and Acacia trees for shade. Each stand has a built
braai.
- The ablutions include hot water showers and
flush toilets. Electricity is only available at the ablution
block.
- Alongside the camping area is a large pond
for swimming or fun on the water. (This is obviously affected
by the rainfall or lack thereof).

Waterkloof Hiking Trail

Bo_kloof offers this spectacular
hiking opportunity to their guests as well as to day visitors.

The Waterkloof is the one place
you cannot miss when visiting Baviaanskloof. It is easily
accessible and can take only one and a half hours to complete,
although you would want to spend your day there.

The hike involves some scrambling
but no climbing and the further you go, the narrower and higher the
kloof becomes.
-
The distance is about three
kilometers and you have to get a permit from Bo-Kloof reception.

Other Possibilities
- Picnic or swimming at the campsite.
- Go bird watching. 87 kinds have been spotted on
the farm including Knysna Loeries.
- Go mountain biking where the inclination takes
you.
- Just sit around and enjoy the tranquillity and
the beautiful surroundings.
- Some rock climbing enthusiasts have recently
started exploring the gorge and the mountains at the campsite and found
some promising climbing spots.
