Doringkloof Bush Camp

Why not base yourself here at our shady bush campsites whilst exploring the Baviaanskloof and 4x4 trails at your own time?

The campsites are well away from the working areas of the farm and each site is provided a with a braaiplace, water, light and a 220v powerpoint.

The dam with the jetty is the ideal place to cool of during the summer.

There are ablution blocks in the camping area with flush toilets and hot water showers.

• Bring your own bike and explore our beautiful area.
• Bring your own kayak to the dam or paddle one of our paddle skis which are available at the camp site.
• There are two hiking trails of about 40 minutes and 2 hours respectively. (see below)
• Angling is permitted in the dam.

For any little necessities, including braai wood and ice, which you may have forgotten or run short of, there is also a little kiosk.  Braai packs, fresh wors and meat are available by prior arrangement.

Day visitors are welcome for a minimal tariff.

Our hiking trails are also not "return" routes.  Surround yourself with breathtaking nature while the fish eagle glides overhead looking for his next meal.  Maybe a leopard will be prowling around seeking some small prey.  In the rainy season you may discover a beautiful waterfall in Klipspringer Kloof.  Varing Kloof is a lovely, cool kloof with the most beautiful ferns.  Children can easily tackle this walk.
